In San Antonio, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. I just wanted to share how amazing and inviting the staff is at this location, and having a partnership with our San Antonio Goldfish Swim School location has been such a privilege to be a part of. The space is incredibly clean, inviting, and it’s clear that the staff love working there. Plus - the ice cream is clearly the best in Texas, so what’s not to love?! Amy’s will forever be the perfect place to take your family and friends to enjoy a delicious scoop (or several scoops πŸ˜‰) anytime you’re needing a sweet treat!!

I showed up with a group of 7. As I was in line talking to a friend about a flavor I wanted to try, I browsed the other flavors and prices. When I walked up for my turn I was surprised the employee depicted on my photos stuck a chunk of the exact ice-cream he overheard me wanting to try as I spoke to my friend. That's SERVICE. Forget the high quality of creamery. Forget the colorful and whimsical clean setting. This place is about *service*. This place is about passion and showmanship. This is a large city, and this will always be up there with "Lick". Keep up the good work, lads.

Online they show inclusivity listing several vegan ice cream flavors to choose from. Unfortunately this is another disappointing place for someone with an allergy. We arrived and I was so excited to enjoy ice cream with my kids for the first time in year, only to be told there is only 1 ice cream flavor and 2 sorbet flavors- followed by not knowing if another person used an ice cream scooper in a dairy ice cream before scooping a vegan ice cream. The whole purpose of someone avoiding dairy due to an allergy or just a preference as a vegan should mean that they keep them separated automatically and should have standards to avoid cross contamination. It’s truly unfortunate because we are traveling from out of town and I couldn’t enjoy ice cream with my family. My kids said their ice cream was good though- which is why they got 3 stars.

Always the perfect spot for a li'l sweet treat! The ice cream is delicious and the service is always great. We got the Kitty Kat Combo and the Elvis. Love Amy's! ❀️

Happy to see that the classic vanilla option is vegan, however, it is the only one. It is so easy to have ice creams that are dairy-free and egg-free. It would be more inclusive, so vegans and lactose-intolerant would be able to choose them as well.
